SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 7 - 27/11/2023 to 02/12/2023)

This week I reached the school around 9.15 AM. As usual the assembly were conducted in the classes itself. on first day of this week I taught them the last portion of the unit, ex-situ conservation. I used ICT method for teaching that topic. it created great interest among students. As per the instructions from our concerned Biology teacher, I took the new unit "For the continuity of generation". I took the topic reproduction in bacteria, fungus, Hydra. I make use of videos and images related to the topic. I also used activity cards regarding the topic. Then I completed the topics Flower as a reproductive organ, After pollination and Fertilization in the next days. I conducted an achievement test from the unit Why classification. I am satisfied with the classes, and happy that succeeded in conveying the concept through audio-visual aids. Above all we got a chance to conduct a conscientization program on topic Vermi composting in 8E and a school-based activity on the topic world AIDS day in the class 8B. It was a wonderful experience for us, it was an ICT based class. All the students were attended the class, and all are interested in these programs.
