  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 3 - 24/06/2024 to 28/06/2024) In this week we lost one day due to educational strike. Although it was a strike day we needed to go school. All the students were absent, we completed our training period works on that day. I utilized one day for diagnostic test. The questions were well prepared by covering all the areas from the unit "To Life Processes". I completed the topics Source of various nutrients, Ocean a wonder, Economic and Ecological importance of plants and mangroves. All together it was a productive week.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 2 - 18/06/2024 to 22/06/2024) This week  I reached the school around 9.15 AM almost all the days without being late. I took the class accordance with the lesson plan that I prepared. I completed the topics "Exchange of materials through cell membrane, Diffusion and active transport, Structure of chloroplast, Photosynthesis, Nutrients from Glucose". I took a topic Photosynthesis(Inquiry training model) and Nutrients from Glucose(Concept Attainment Model) in a new method using models of teaching. I used videos, charts, activity cards regarding the topics and used simple language for easy understanding. I make use of White board effectively. the students were active and responded very well to the questions and all are very attentive.   SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 1 - 12/06/2024 to 15/06/2024) Second phase teaching practice has started at NSMGHS Kottiyam as per the rules and regulations of the school. I reached school at 9 AM. As per the timetable today I had class on 9D during third period.   I planned to teach the topic "Biomolecules" from the unit "To Life Processes". As it was a new chapter in the revised textbook I introduced the topic by describing the importance of science and technology in human life. I make use of hypothetical conversation given in the textbook and also the paper cutting provided in the textbook. I used videos, activity cards and charts related to the topic. I also took the topics "Metabolism, Transportation of substances inside the cell, Structure of cell membrane" on next days. I am satisfied with this week's classes.
