  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 6 - 20/11/2023 to 24/11/2023) This week  I reached the school around 9.15 AM almost all the days without being late. I took the class in accordance with the lesson plan that I prepared. I completed the topics Diverse ecosystems, Biodiversity services, Biodiversity depletion and in-situ conservation. I used videos, charts, activity cards regarding the topics and used simple language for easy understanding. I make use of White board effectively. While teaching the students asked their doubts and I tried my best in clarifying their doubts. I deal very well with the students as I planned. I am satisfied with this weeks classes as some classes were based on ICT model.  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I - WEEKLY REFLECTION (WEEK 5 - 13/11/2023 - 18/11/2023) This week  I reached the school around 9.15 AM almost all the days without being late. I took the class accordance with the lesson plan that I prepared. I completed the topics Five kingdom classification, Modern trends in taxonomy and virus from the unit 'why classification'. I completed the unit within the time limit. Then I started the new unit 'Diversity for the sustenance'. I took the topics Biosphere and ecology, Food chain and Food web, Trophic level and Ecological interactions in this week. I covered the above topics because I got some extra substitutional hours this week. I used videos, charts, flash cards, activity cards regarding the topics and used simple language for easy understanding. I utilized one substitutional hour for putting the diagnostic test.   SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I - WEEKLY REFLECTION (WEEK 4 - 06/11/2023 - 10/11/2023) In this week, I started new chapter in the 8th std. In 8th std after completing the first unit I gave the let us assess questions and extended activities related to the unit" let's regain our field's "then in the next class I introduced the new unit "why classification". First introduced the unit   then I displayed videos, charts and prepared activity cards to make learning more meaningful and interesting. It creates interests among students. So, I felt very happy, that they are very interested in learning the new topic. I am very well prepared to take the class based on my lesson template. The enrichment activity is very well prepared, and it is based on the topic and the interest of students. The follow up activity helps the students to recall the entire topic that they have studied.   SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I - WEEKLY REFLECTION (WEEK 3- 01/11/2023 - 04/11/2023) After the second semester examination we reached the school on November 1st. As a part of Keralapiravi day the assembly was conducted on the ground, after the assembly there were some programs related to the Keralapiravi day. The teacher trainees including me helped in decorating the stage. After the programs there were periodic classes. I had class in 8B. I taught the topic various agricultural sectors. The class was so much interesting for me as well as the students.  I took the topics Reaping diversity, Polyhouse and precision farming, Hydroponics and Aeroponics, Native varieties and supporting organizations, on next days. I am happy that I make possible audio-visual aids at the maximum level. It was a pleasure for me to engage the students without creating any kind of boredom. The use of active cards made them more engaged.
