  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 7 - 22/07/2024 to 26/07/2024) Entering the final week of teaching practice. In this week I taught them the topics "I conducted achievement test from the unit "To Life Processes" and took innovative working of heart, heartbeat and ECG, pulse and BP, double circulation, health of heart, vascular tissue in plants". I took innovative lesson plan on the topic "digestive system" this week.  We also celebrated National Broadcasting Day on 23rd July. I completed the units allotted for me by the biology teacher. The teacher gave me good comments about my classes, and I become happy with her words. Teaching these students has been an incredible experience. I've learned as much from them as they have from me.   SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 6 - 15/07/2024 to 19/07/2024) Another joyful week of teaching practice begin on manday. I reached the school around 9.15 AM, I taught the topics "Blood and its components, Tissue Fluid and Lymphatic System, Heart, Transport of nutrients". for teaching the topic "Blood and its components" I used ICT model. for teaching topics I presented videos charts, activity cards related to the topics. A science quiz competition was held under Science Club and 4-5 students from high school participated in the program. Conducting science quizzes in schools can improve children in several ways. It helps children understand scientific concepts and develop a strong foundation in science. It sparks children's curiosity, encouraging them to explore and learn more about science. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 5 - 08/07/2024 to 12/07/2024) This week I reached the school around 9.15 AM almost all the days without being late. I took the class accordance with the lesson plan that I prepared. I completed the topics "Digestion, Mechanical Digestion-Parts, Swallowing, Digestive System and Absorption of simple Nutrients. The topic Mechanical Digestion-Parts was taught using the ICT model. I make use of White board effectively. the students were active and responded very well to the questions and all are very attentive. While teaching the students asked their doubts and I tried my best in clarifying their doubts. I deal very well with the students as I planned. I am satisfied with the classes and happy that I succeeded to conveying the concepts.   SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 4 - 01/07/2024 to 05/07/2024)  In this week, I started new chapter "Digestion and transport of Nutrients" in 9B after conducting diagnostic test. I completed the topics "Nutrients, Nutrition in Amoeba and Hydra, ". July 2nd was the celebration of the NSM day, there were no classes, but programs were charted on this day. The assembly was conducted in the school ground. There were passing out parade for the SPC cadets and award distribution for the toppers of the 10th pass out students. The program ended at 1 PM. The teachers also came from our college for observation on this week.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 3 - 24/06/2024 to 28/06/2024) In this week we lost one day due to educational strike. Although it was a strike day we needed to go school. All the students were absent, we completed our training period works on that day. I utilized one day for diagnostic test. The questions were well prepared by covering all the areas from the unit "To Life Processes". I completed the topics Source of various nutrients, Ocean a wonder, Economic and Ecological importance of plants and mangroves. All together it was a productive week.

  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE II - WEEKLY REFLECTION- (WEEK 2 - 18/06/2024 to 22/06/2024) This week  I reached the school around 9.15 AM almost all the days without being late. I took the class accordance with the lesson plan that I prepared. I completed the topics "Exchange of materials through cell membrane, Diffusion and active transport, Structure of chloroplast, Photosynthesis, Nutrients from Glucose". I took a topic Photosynthesis(Inquiry training model) and Nutrients from Glucose(Concept Attainment Model) in a new method using models of teaching. I used videos, charts, activity cards regarding the topics and used simple language for easy understanding. I make use of White board effectively. the students were active and responded very well to the questions and all are very attentive.
